Importing Media
Cloud providers
Pull tracks in from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and any provider that appears in the Files app.
Introduction
Stow doesn't sync with Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud automatically — but if a provider appears in the Files app, you can import from it like any other folder.

Steps
- Install your provider's app and enable Show in Files (in that app's settings).
- In Stow, tap Import → Files.
- Tap Browse and open the provider (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.).
- Select files or folders → Open.
Tips
- Files are copied into Stow on your iPhone — edits in the cloud copy don't auto-update Stow.
- Large imports work best on Wi-Fi; Stow downloads from the provider during import.
- For huge libraries, sync to a computer and use Wi-Fi Transfer.
FAQ
Does Stow keep syncing with Dropbox?
No. One-time import. Your library lives on the device.
Can I use iCloud Drive?
Yes — it's built into Files. Import folders from iCloud Drive the same way.
