A few habits make Stow in the car smoother and safer.
Before you drive
- Pin your driving folders or playlists on iPhone — they're still easy to find in CarPlay.
- Build a queue on iPhone if you want a long mixed session ready to go.
On the road
- Use Search under Folders for quick title lookup — faster than drilling deep folders.
- Play Next from browse mode when someone requests a song.
- Remember: 100-track cap per CarPlay list — queue very large folders on iPhone first.
Safety
- Let passengers handle deep browsing when possible.
- Stow follows Apple's CarPlay interaction guidelines — no custom video or visualizers.
Troubleshooting
Stow missing from CarPlay
Check iPhone Settings → General → CarPlay → confirm Stow is allowed.
Playback pauses
Phone calls pause Stow automatically — normal iOS behavior.
